the start of spring break!

It doesn't seem real that I am offically on spring break already! I can't believe i have been here for 2 months already! The past week has been hectic with studying, exams and assignments but the stress is finally over. On monday my amazing dad skyped me the Patriots game! It was awsome to just watch my beloved Pats and espically since they won =] Thanks dad love you! On wednesday I took i break from classes since my prac was cancelled and went to the beach with Kara. It was a relaxing day of reading at first then making sure we didnt get hit by people playing rugby and the awkward guy in a banana suit running down the beach. It was still a very good day! I am pretty sure i aced my exams and started off spring break the right way with conception day on friday. This is a crazy day at Macquarie where it is the day that the should was "conceived" basically haha They throw this huge concert type party in hte middle of campus and it was awsome. Right after i finished my exam that morning, i met up with everyone in the village and hung around on the green. There was music and people everywhereee. We then walked down to conception day and it was honestly way better than i expected! It was like a mix between picnic(all my SAC loves know what this is) and warped tour with food, a ferris wheel, bumper cars and so much more! It was a beautiful day out too! I am starting to love the Australian weather now that it is spring! I get to wear shorts and t-shirt basically everyday and throwing on a sweatshirt at night. This is the weather i think of when i hear about Australia. This weekend has been a relaxing weekend of recovering from my horrible cold which is not getting any better and getting some work done before my 2 weeks of travelling. Starting tomorrow, Danielle, Emily and I are going on 5 different day trip. I am so excited to finally get to travel around Australia and I will be sure to take lots of pictures! One week from today I am going to New Zealand with Mara! I am even more excited for going to a different country and having a real vacation! Before I head to New Zealand I will be sure to update this on how my week of day trips went!
